Is my information kept private? Yes! I take your online privacy seriously. All customer information is kept confidential. I will never sell or share your personal information with third parties.

Do you take commissions? Yes. Availability varies depending on any current or ongoing projects. Rates for commission work are dependent on the nature of each project such as size, complexity, time to complete, materials costs, equipment rental, travel, etc. Each project is different, so some cost factors won't always apply. For example: travel and equipment rental fees would generally only apply to large scale, on site mural work or sculptural installations that might require the use of scaffolding or lifts. All commissions require a non-refundable 50% deposit before work begins, with the remaining 50% due on completion and prior to delivery. For mural or installation work the remaining 50% is due on the day work is completed. For more information or to request a quote please email: customerservice@philhemsley.com

Can you build or design my website? I do not currently scratch build websites for individuals or companies. However, if you are in need of graphics such as banners, overlays, icons, or emojis for your site or social media platforms, feel free to contact me.

Will you design my logo? Yes. Logo designs are treated the same as any other commissioned work and are subject to the same rates.

Will you design my tattoo? Yes. Original artwork for a tattoo design is treated the same as any other commissioned work and is subject to the same rates.

Can you paint something on my bike, board, wall, business, etc.? Yes. I have and will put art on just about anything.

Do you have other work available besides what is shown in the online store? Most often the answer is yes. Feel free to send me an email if you are looking for something specific, or to find out what else I have in stock.

Do you sell prints of your work? Coming soon! I am currently researching the best options for creating high quality prints at a reasonable price point. Check back in the near future for more information.

Can you frame my purchase? I do not currently offer framing services. The majority of my current body of work comes ready to hang and does not require framing. Occasionally, I may offer up a pre-framed piece, in which case that will be reflected in the item's description.

Why does item "X" cost so much? Contrary to popular perception, running an art business can be an expensive undertaking. There are a myriad of factors I need to consider when pricing creative work: Art materials, time invested for lay out, design, and creating the piece, time spent preparing and packing work for shipping, packing materials, studio costs, taxes, and last but not least; the decades of expertise as a creative that I bring to each and every project. I do my best to keep overhead low and still provide high quality work at a reasonable rate that allows me to make a living doing what I love.

I don't have the money right now, but could I just see some preliminary sketches of my commission, logo, etc.? A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before any work on a commission or project can begin. This includes preliminary sketches, mock-ups, thumbnails, color comps, storyboards, prototyping, etc.

Will you trade work for "exposure"? No.
